The goal of NO MORE is to bring awareness about sexual violence and to end domestic violence and sexual assault. This year’s campaign is called \#NOMOREWEEK. What can you do to participate?  ### \#1 Get a discussion started Open a candid conversation with your friends about domestic violence and sexual assault. What are their thoughts about it? Is it an issue? Is it something that they or someone they know has experienced?  [The next time you’re in a room with six people, think about this:](https://www.nomore.org/know-the-facts/)  - 1 in 2 women and 2 in 5 men experience violence from their partners in their lifetimes. - Up to 19% of teens experience sexual or physical dating violence, about half face stalking or harassment, and as many as 65% report being psychologically abused. - Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. - Over 1 in 4 lesbian women, almost half of bisexual women, and over 1 in 4 heterosexual women were raped during their lifetimes. - About a quarter of gay men (837,000) and 3.0% of heterosexual men (3.3 million) were raped during their lifetimes. There is a good chance that someone in your group will have experienced violence personally or know someone who has. This could be a chance to bring healing to someone who has never talked about it or bring more awareness to a difficult topic. ### \#2 Learn how to offer support NO MORE has some great resources and ideas on their [website](https://www.nomore.org/where-to-get-help/). They also have some [tips](https://www.nomore.org/know-what-to-say/) for what you can say to someone who has experienced sexual violence. ### \#3 Stand with survivors Speak up about your position on domestic violence and sexual assault by sharing on social media.  We’ll be speaking up all this week, too, by posting pics of our team with the NO MORE sign. We’d love to see your pics, too.
