Red Flags is a trauma-informed course that meets human trafficking training requirements for the state of Virginia, as governed by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Red Flags fulfills the requirements set forth by Code of Virginia § 35.1-15.1.

According to Virginia law, every hotel proprietor must require its employees to complete a training course on recognizing and reporting instances of suspected human trafficking. Each hotel employee shall complete a required human trafficking training course within six months of being employed by a hotel and then at least once every two years for as long as they are employed by the hotel.
